As the Managing Partner of The Berkeley Innovation Group, Jeff brings a multidimensional approach to strategic planning. He specializes in mid-market companies and crafts intricate five-year plans to navigate complex landscapes and achieve sustainable growth. Leveraging his experience in both top-line growth initiatives and cost-cutting efforts, Jeff employs first-principles thinking to get to the heart of any strategic challenge. This method allows him to collaborate effectively with executive teams to identify and execute strategies that regain or maintain market-leading positions. The result is a practical yet visionary roadmap that fuels growth and innovation in highly competitive markets.

Educator at BerkeleyHaas

As a lecturer at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, also known as BerkeleyHaas, Jeff draws on his extensive consulting experience to deliver unique learning experiences. Not only does he stimulate students' curiosity, but he also pushes them to explore a full spectrum of possibilities. He is a co-instructor in the Haas@Work program, leading teams of up to ten students in projects to unlock innovation potential for Fortune 500 companies. Jeff's interactive teaching style and real-world business acumen create an immersive educational experience, guiding students toward unexpected yet groundbreaking solutions.

Credentials

Jeff holds an MBA from BerkeleyHaas and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. Embodying the BerkeleyHaas defining principle of "student always," he recently completed a six-month Executive Education course in AI and ML from UT Austin McCombs School of Business.

 

As a co-founder of the Berkeley Innovation Group, Jeff has led strategy work with:
